The concept of « Airpnp » was created by Marta Abreu. The actress wants to use a small box, similar to a phone-both, as the stage of her performance. The artists should only work, after the public puts a coin in the small “coin-box”. This performance it’s a manifesto about the precariousness of artist in particular, but also all the freelancers, in a country like Portugal, during the economic and social crisis of 2008.

The client asked for a translucent box, easily built and transportable. The public, should intervene during the construction of the box after receiving the instructions document. The ceiling had a light, as a signal, and the main door: a box for the coins.  The frames in Plexiglas can and should change, evolving with time and space.
